Founded in 1975, Nutra Blend has grown from a regional premixing and distribution company to the largest micro-ingredient distributor in the U.S., delivering to all 48 contiguous states every week. We manufacture vitamins, trace minerals and other quality feed additive premixes to the livestock, poultry and pet food industry as well as distribute nearly every major micro-ingredient available on the market today. Nutra Blend, LLC uses an industry-leading tracking and traceability program called NBi. The NBi system can track and trace each pound of the millions of pounds that are processed through Nutra Blend.

Please join us for a Feed ...
Industry cycle ride (you do not need to be a member of the feed industry to participate) through Southeast Iowa to Hannibal, Missouri.  August 10-11 2017. 

Ride will start at Landus Cooperative, Yale, Iowa at 7:30 a.m., Thursday, August 10 (trailer parking available).  First stop will be at 8:30 a.m. Feed Energy Plant at 3121 Dean Avenue, Des Moines (more trailer parking available) to pick up the riders starting/meeting there. Leave DM by 9 a.m. 

For the Northern Riders, if you want to overnight on Wednesday, August 9 at the Charley residence in Cedar Falls, please contact John at 515.571.0393.  If you want to overnight at my house in Yale, please call me.
Ride will proceed from Des Moines cross country toward Mt. Pleasant, Iowa where we will have lunch at the Press Box Bar & Grill, 1110 West Washington Street, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa at noonish. Following lunch, the ride will proceed to Burlington, where we will cross the Mighty Mississippi River into Illinois and head south to Hannibal Missouri to arrive at our hotel at The Best Western on the River, 401 N. 3rd Street, Hannibal, Missouri.

We have a block of rooms reserved and held until Saturday,July 15 at $99 per room. All rooms have 2 double beds.  Reservations are under “Ride to feed Kids”. Call the hotel at 573-248-1150 to book your room.
We need to arrive at the Hotel by 5-5:30 p.m. as we have booked a River Boat Cruise/Dinner that departs at 6:30 p.m. The Boat Cruise is right next to the hotel. Cost is $41.00 per person plus a cash bar that will be sponsored by one of the suppliers I am told!  We need your confirmation for this cruise by Monday, August 7 to save your space aboard the ship!  You will pay for your cruise that evening at the boat. If you prefer to stay on land for the evening meal, there are lots of nice restaurants very near the hotel in Downtown Hannibal where we are staying.

We will begin Friday morning with Continental Breakfast at Hotel and a brief presentation about “Drive to feed Kids” at 8 a.m. and then depart to ride through Northeast Missouri, as we make our way back to central Iowa with a tour of Rathbun Lake and other stops and points of interest  to be determined.

The purpose of the ride is to raise awareness of local hunger issues, raise funding for the Food Bank of Iowa Back Pack Program and to build relationships with Feed Industry Professionals and others.
Registration for the ride is $50 per bike (payable to Food Bank of Iowa) and includes a *tee shirt (or 2 for couples) along with any updates on the ride and the blessing of providing many needy Kids with meals for the weekend away from School. We need to arrive at the Hotel by 5-5:30 p.m. as we have booked a River Boat Cruise/Dinner that departs at 6:30 p.m. The Boat Cruise is right next to the hotel. Cost is $41.00 per person plus a cash bar that will be sponsored by one of the suppliers I am told!  We need your confirmation for this cruise by Monday, August 7 to save your space aboard the ship!  You will pay for your cruise that evening at the boat. If you prefer to stay on land for the evening meal, there are lots of nice restaurants very near the hotel in Downtown Hannibal where we are staying.

We will begin Friday morning with Continental Breakfast at Hotel and a brief presentation about “Drive to feed Kids” at 8 a.m. and then depart to ride through Northeast Missouri, as we make our way back to central Iowa with a tour of Rathbun Lake and other stops and points of interest  to be determined.

The purpose of the ride is to raise awareness of local hunger issues, raise funding for the Food Bank of Iowa Back Pack Program and to build relationships with Feed Industry Professionals and others.
Registration for the ride is $50 per bike (payable to Food Bank of Iowa) and includes a *tee shirt (or 2 for couples) along with any updates on the ride and the blessing of providing many needy Kids with meals for the weekend away from School. Landus Coop - Ride to Feed The Kids
Please join us for a Feed Industry cycle ride (you do not need to be a member of the feed industry to participate) through Southeast Iowa to Hannibal, Missouri.  August 10-11 2017. 

Ride will start at Landus Cooperative, Yale, Iowa at 7:30 a.m., Thursday, August 10 (trailer parking available).  First stop will be at 8:30 a.m. Feed Energy Plant at 3121 Dean Avenue, Des Moines (more trailer parking available) to pick up the riders starting/meeting there. Leave DM by 9 a.m. 

For the Northern Riders, if you want to overnight on Wednesday, August 9 at the Charley residence in Cedar Falls, please contact John at 515.571.0393.  If you want to overnight at my house in Yale, please call me.
Ride will proceed from Des Moines cross country toward Mt. Pleasant, Iowa where we will have lunch at the Press Box Bar & Grill, 1110 West Washington Street, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa at noonish. Following lunch, the ride will proceed to Burlington, where we will cross the Mighty Mississippi River into Illinois and head south to Hannibal Missouri to arrive at our hotel at The Best Western on the River, 401 N. 3rd Street, Hannibal, Missouri.

We have a block of rooms reserved and held until Saturday,July 15 at $99 per room. All rooms have 2 double beds.  Reservations are under “Ride to feed Kids”. Call the hotel at 573-248-1150 to book your room.
